Screendragon named ‘Notable Vendor’ in Forrester® Now Tech Report for Marketing Resource Management

Their latest report ‘The Marketing Resource Management Technologies Landscape, Q2 2024’ included Screendragon and 22 other vendors in a market overview for a solution they define as ‘technology that enables marketers to manage planning and budgeting, project and program management, collaboration and calendaring, content production, asset management, and performance analytics’.

The Forrester Now Tech Report for MRM

Forrester describes MRM as a solution that “improves marketing performance and ROI management, frees up time for creativity with optimized work management, and supports content alignment, brand consistency, and asset localization”.

Within the Forrester solution architecture, MRM sits in the ‘middle brand strategy layer’. This means that MRM uses insights to ‘inform marketing plans, people, and processes’. In view of this, Forrester projects a CAGR of 13.3% from 2023 to 2027 for global MarTech brand strategy spending. Within this overall segment sits the MRM category.

Forrester’s Marketing Survey, 2024 found that two-thirds of B2B marketing decision-makers currently use marketing planning and budget management technologies. When surveyed regarding the main benefits of MRM software, B2B executives mentioned:

  • Improved marketing performance and ROI
  • Frees up time for creativity with optimized work management.
  • Supports content alignment, brand consistency, and asset localization.

Additionally, the main use cases for MRM in the B2B space were noted as ‘Project Management, Content Planning and Production, and Content Distribution’.
