Screendragon changes gears with its new Google Drive Integration
We’ve just added another great way to collaborate in Screendragon with our latest Google Drive integration. Now alongside being able to online proof and check-in/out assets, users can edit documents online using Google Drive. We are really excited to see how this will simplify collaboration for our users. We learned lots from our beta period and have applied all the insights gained into a very powerful integration approach.
Here’s how it all flows together to provide users with a fantastic new way of working.
Every doc added to Screendragon can now be edited online in Google docs with one click. Screendragon seamlessly connects with the users Google Drive account and lets them work online. With one click users can save the document back into Screendragon. Best of all, this is integrated with Screendragon’s version management and proofing functionality – so every save automatically creates a new file version in Screendragon and the file is automatically converted for online proofing or annotating with sticky notes.
We are excited that this new functionality can resolve some of the obstacles that appear in collaborative workflows. Picture a scenario, where you have partners and colleagues all with different operating systems and versions of software. Now all reviews and annotations can be done online without having to worry about installed software. A true cost and time saver.
