Mawi Asgedom is the definition of Unstuck. He was born into destitution and war in Ethiopia.

His first major triumph was successfully fleeing the conflict and making it to a refugee camp. He didn’t know it then, but the camp was Mawi’s first phase of education. It would conclude with a graduation and renowned commencement speech at Harvard.

In this episode, Mawi recalls his remarkable life story. He shares the principles and habits that helped him overcome adversity and become a successful business leader. Mawi also introduces social and emotional learning and explains how the greatest knowledge is not found within, but through others.
