Resource Permissions
The Resource Permissions section allows the administrator to control who has access to a particular user's Resource information in a system. It controls what users can be seen in the Resource Manager.
It allows the administrator to create multiple rules across the site.
Use Cases: A manager of a London office should be able to see and resource London staff but not see anyone in the New York office.
Advanced Use Case: A manager of a London office can see and resource London staff but can resource from New York staff too. They need to be able to see availability but not the projects they’re working on due to client conflicts etc.
If a user has view access to another user via the RM Permission manager then they should see the resource but cannot book against them.
If a user had admin access to another user via the RM Permission manager then they should see the user as a resource and be allowed to add the user to project bookings, but only projects the user has access to.
